Mining Activities

In order to develop mines and mining industries, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company has invested in the metal mines sector and started discovery activities, while taken required actions to equip related mines for extraction activities.

Moreover, due to ownership of Sourgah mine in Jiroft, this company is also planning to establish a plant for production of Ferro Silicon Manganese and for this purpose, is seriously looking after investigatory and exploratory activities to identify iron ore, Manganese, chromite, copper and other industrial soils in different provinces of the country, few of which are as followings.

Darouneh Placeri Iron Ore Mine

• Location: Khorasan Razavi Province, south Bardaskan
• Extraction Method: Surface mining
• This mine is under preparation and construction.

Sourgah Manganese Mine

• Location: Kerman Province, West Jiroft. Area: 14 km2
• Extraction Method: Surface mining
• This mine is under operation.

Torbat Heidarieh Copper Exploratory Area

• Location: Khorasan Razavi Province, Torbat Heidarieh
• Exploratory Operations of this mine is scheduled by senior experts of this company.
